Strata Hub – Simplifying Annual Reporting

Staying on top of annual reporting requirements for the schemes you manage just got a whole lot easier, thanks to the latest feature on Strata Hub. If you’re a strata manager in NSW, ensuring compliance with annual reporting regulations is now a breeze with this new tool.

As of 30 April 2024, Strata Hub introduces a user-friendly feature designed to streamline the process of monitoring and managing annual reporting deadlines for multiple strata schemes. Here’s how it works and why it’s a game-changer across NSW.

What does the new feature offer?

The new feature on Strata Hub allows you to:

  1. Review a list of strata schemes you manage, which can be downloaded in a spreadsheet.
  2. Sort the list by last reported AGM date and other categories.
  3. Cross-reference this reported information with your own records.

Why Is this feature important?

This new feature can help you stay on track to ensure the schemes you manage continue to:

  1. Hold an AGM each year.
  2. Report within three months of the AGM.

It’s important to note that both of the above are legal requirements under NSW strata laws.

How do I use the new Strata Hub feature?

Getting started with the new feature on Strata Hub is quick and straightforward. Please follow the below steps:

  1. Log in to the Strata Hub at https://www.stratahub.nsw.gov.au.
  2. Navigate to the ‘My strata schemes’ dashboard to review a list of your strata schemes. This includes the dates of the last reported AGM and when annual reporting was last completed.
  3. You have the option to download a spreadsheet of this information, letting you sort the data (for example, by last reported AGM date). You can then crosscheck this with your own records and follow up on schemes due to hold an AGM and/or complete reporting.

The Strata Hub team values your input and is committed to continuously enhancing your user experience. Please use the feedback tool in the Strata Hub to tell them about your experience using this new feature.
