As most of you would have been, we have also been awaiting the announcement of the legislative reform with keen interest. To ensure that our software products, STRATA Master and fileSMART, continue to not only meet the legislative requirements, but also allow strata managers to run their business efficiently, we have been planning the prospective changes for some time. While impossible to know exactly what would pass, we were able to use the information available to start planning proposed changes, which has allowed us to work to quickly develop changes to STRATA Master to meet the new requirements from 30th November. When asked about the changes required to the software, Aylie Brutman, Product Manager, said ‘The terminology was the first thing we looked at. We have been in discussions with Bannermans Lawyers to ensure more complex changes comply and we’re hosting a Client Workshop to continue the discussion with all NSW STRATA Master users on 13th October to hear what they need from their software supplier’.
