Topic Overview

This topic will assist participants in making the most out of technology in a post-COVID-19 world. This session will look at the different ways in which strata management has changed since the impact of COVID-19. Various ways of conducting meetings will be explored.

In addition to meetings, it is important that strata managers continue to engage with technology, ensuring that documentation is easier to issue to owners and communication portals are explored to better interact with owners and occupants.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will gain an understanding of:

• How to use strata technology effectively
• Electronic meeting platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams
• Pre-meeting electronic voting
• In-meeting voting applications
• Polling and special resolution calculations when simultaneously conducting electronic meetings

How to outline processes prior to meetings to ensure their smooth implementation
