Professional Standards Scheme Requirements

Your 24/25 Professional Standards Scheme education requirements are based on agent level. The education is broken into two sections ‘Compulsory’ and ‘Elective’.

Class 1 Agent

PSS Requirements
Total 9 hours

COMPULSORY PSS HOURS (3hrs):

Your choice from the course list below:

3 x 1 hr online courses

ELECTIVE PSS HOURS (6hrs): Your choice from the following: Fortnightly Webinars (1hr) Additional Learning (1hr) Selected SCA NSW Events

Designed and delivered online by subject specialists, each PSS Compulsory course counts as one hour towards your PSS Compulsory requirements.

  • Hosted in the SCA NSW Education Centre
  • Free to attend.
  • Each webinar counts as one hour. 
PSS - Online Courses

Additional Learning –

  • Use training you’ve done with non-SCA NSW organisations.
  • Can’t be training already used for Fair Trading CPD
  • Submit training using the button below.

Professional Standards Scheme FAQs

Any Class 1, Class 2 or Assistant Agent members of SCA NSW.

You must complete both PSS Compulsory and PSS Elective hours.

 

PSS Compulsory:

Class 1 Agent: 3 x 1hr online courses.
Class 2 Agent: 3 x 1hr online courses.
Assistant Agent: 2 x 1hr online courses.

 

PSS Elective:

Class 1 Agent: 6hrs
Class 2 Agent: 3hrs
Assistant Agent: 1hr

Throughout the year, SCA NSW delivers events that are informative and practical sessions, providing an opportunity to earn PSS hours, learn, network and share knowledge.
