The NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) has recently released a series of online videos which have been created to assist people who are representing themselves to prepare for their hearing.
The videos, which are available in English as well as some other languages, are scenario-based and depict the four stages of the NCAT process from lodging an application, preparing a case, the hearing and the decision.
The four videos deal with common matters heard by NCAT, these include a dispute between a landlord and tenant, a home building conflict, the review of a government agency’s decision and the appointment of a guardian and financial manager for a person with a disability.
