In addition, this session will highlight where agents can improve their communication for owners buying into strata schemes.

Suggestions for agency improvement around the issuance of introduction packs and notifications to new owners will also be part of this session.

Participants will gain an understanding of the property transaction process, particularly around the following sections of the Strata Schemes Management Act 2015:

  • Section 22 – What is included in a ‘Strata Interest Notice’ and how agencies should be dealing with the receipt of the same
  • Sections 182/183 – The legal requirements in relation to strata record inspection (strata search) and how to facilitate the process in a post-COVID19 world
  • Section 184 – What must be included in a ‘Strata Information Certificate’ and to facilitate the process.
